ABOUT INNER-CITY HOME

About Us

Inner-City Home of Sudbury began in April 1986 with the intention of providing shelter and emergency food bank services to those in need. After almost 37 years, our services and outreach area have expanded to be the largest providing emergency and area food bank in Greater Sudbury as well as providing high quality life-skills programs free of charge to the community.

“Several years ago, I was asked to participate in a fundraising event for the Inner-City Home. A couple of days later I was invited to tour the home. Speaking with several families and children waiting for food I quickly saw the need for help and for volunteer board members. I decided to join the Board to help. It has been very gratifying for me."

"In my role as the Administrator, I’m eager to continue providing resources to help people meet their needs. Being dedicated and available for clients will always be my utmost priority. Working closely with a large group of volunteers who have a similar mindset and goal is so empowering. Working here reminds me daily that we can accomplish anything when it will help our community. I’m looking forward to working with supporting agencies and building a place where everyone feels welcomed."
